Created through a joint venture between Bosch and BASF, the One Smart Spray is a unique sprayer system using infra-red lights and cameras to locate a spray specific targets. Designed to improve efficiency and profitability of growers; the system can run continuously without calibration and sets the stage for future advancements in sprayer technology.

There are simply too many diseases and pests lurking beneath the soil for growers to have a wait-and-see attitude.

As in the recent past, there are no new herbicide products with unique modes of action that will be registered for use in our area anytime soon. Otherwise, here are some newer product premixes, revised formulations of existing active ingredients, and tradenames to consider.

Every no-tiller in the Southeast knows of University of Tennessee’s (UT) “Milan No-Till Field Day.” The AgResearch & Education Center at Milan was established in 1962 on former Milan Army Ammunition Plant land.
