The 2018 No-till on the Plains Winter Conference is just a few weeks away, as the 22nd annual event will run Jan. 30-31 in Wichita, Kan.

This year's conference again features the industry experts No-till on the Plains is famous for, but what also makes this year special is the focus on topics presented by growers themselves.

Practical Experience from Speakers

Nearly two-thirds of the Winter Conference speakers are farmers and ranchers who will give attendees first-hand information about how to improve their operations. Growers from Kansas and Oklahoma and from as far away as Canada and France will be featured during the two-day conference sharing their stories of improving soil health.

Attendees can hear from these soil caretakers, as well as researchers and teachers as part of the Winter Conference experience. This year’s Conference lineup has 14 new speakers, many of them producers.

Featured new speakers include Derek Axten from Saskatchewan, Canada; Brice Custer from Hays, Kan., Russ Jackson from Mountain View, Okla., John Stigge from Washington, Kan., and Sarah Singla from France. This group promises to bring new perspectives to the two-day event.

One-On-One Interactions and Networking is Key

Another unique feature of No-till on the Plains conference is the opportunity for one-on-one time with these presenters.

Following each breakout session there is a Q&A room designed for attendees to spend time with speakers. This opportunity to interact and connect with the speakers will bring more value to the Conference and your farm.

In addition to the Q&A sessions, a reception will be held on Monday evening following the last breakout session. Attendees will be treated to some light snacks and complimentary drinks at the reception while they network with fellow attendees and speakers. The reception is generously sponsored by Agrium Inc.

Join fellow No-till on the Plains attendees for an opportunity to dine with conference VIPs. Purchase your tickets for the networking banquet set for Wednesday evening, Jan. 31 at the Hyatt Regency, Wichita. This banquet is a special event and precedes the AIM Symposium, which kicks off the following day.

Banquet tickets can be purchased online at the time of registration or by calling Rhonda at (785) 307-0433. Complete your registration today http://notill.org/events/22nd-annual-winter-conference.
