NACD Chooses Eisenberg As New CEO

The new CEO of the National Association of Conservation Districts is Jeff Eisenberg, who has previously represented ranchers and conservation organizations on natural resource issues and also served as an attorney for USDA.

The association represents the 3,000 conservation districts and the 17,000 people who serve on their governing boards.

Eisenberg most recently served as the Public Lands Council’s Executive Director, representing ranchers before Congress and the Executive Branch on natural resource issues like the Farm Bill, endangered species and climate change. He also represented the Klamath Water Users’ Association and the Nature Conservancy.
