Tim Ford

Tim Ford— U.S. Crop Consultant Liaison and Regional Sales Manager for the South Delta, HELM Crop Solutions

Tim Ford, a seasoned agronomist from Baskin, Louisiana, brings nearly four decades of hands-on experience to HELM Crop Solutions, where he wears two hats. He’s the U.S. Crop Consultant Liaison and the Regional Sales Manager for the South Delta—roles that perfectly blend his technical agronomic know-how with strategic leadership.

A 1987 graduate of Louisiana Tech University, Tim earned his degree in agribusiness with minors in agronomy and business. Since then, he’s built a career spanning sales, management, consulting, and innovation with some of the biggest names in U.S. agrochemicals and research labs. He joined the HELM team in August 2022.

Tim is a Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) through the American Society of Agronomy. He is also involved in organizations nationally with the Crop Science Society of America and the Soil Science Society of America, as well as at the state level with the Louisiana Agricultural Consultants Association. Additionally, he serves on a committee with the National Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants.

But Tim’s talents don’t stop with the agricultural industry. He’s also a Certified Golf Course Superintendent with a Class A membership in the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. His passion for turfgrass keeps him involved in both the Louisiana and Mississippi state turfgrass associations.

Whether it’s row crops, fruit and vegetable production, or fairways, Tim understands land management—especially regarding herbicides and plant biologicals, water, soils and environmental stewardship. He enjoys developing relationships with customers and helping them find the right solutions to be more profitable.
