Syngenta Crop Protection and Biotalys today announced a collaboration to research, develop and commercialize new biocontrol solutions to manage key pests in a broad variety of crops.
The partnership provides that Novozymes will use its expertise and intellectual property rights to explore additional routes for increasing production of the bioactive protein of Evoca, with the option for a possible commercial collaboration for a future generation of the product.
This new classification, granted by an international panel of technical experts, indicates Evoca could complement existing biological and conventional crop protection to fight Botrytis and powdery mildew.
