Event Description
Ray Archuleta and Barry Fisher, USDA-NRCS Soil Health Specialists along with Dr. Brad Joern, Purdue University will describe how soil health systems can help heal reclaimed minelands and other highly disturbed soils. The workshop location is on a working coal mine and will include cover crop demonstration plots and an optional mine tour in the afternoon.
