While no-till is a pillar of the regen movement, the Big Soil Health Event is definitely a departure from conventional no-till practices. As I was listening to the speakers, these four statements caught my attention, and I wondered how those of you reading would have reacted had you been there.

Jackson Stansell, Founder and CEO of Sentinel Fertigation describes his new software platform, N-TIME. A nutrient management platform, N-TIME focuses on nitrogen recommendation for farmers, specifically those applying fertilizer in season. By analyzing multiple sources of satellite imagery, N-TIME isolates the impact nitrogen has on potential yields, tracks nitrogen sufficiency and determines a seven day nitrogen demand for the observed crops.

Pegasus Robotics Field Marketing Specialist Danielle Helland gives a first had look at the XAG P100 Spray Drone at the 2023 Nebraska Ag Expo. Rated at 50+ acres an hour, the XAG P100 is able to carry 13 gallons, and is capable of reaching speeds up to 31 mph while spraying.

Susterre CEO Michael Cully, gives a rundown on the company’s use of ultra-high pressure water jets to cut through residue in no-till farming.

Agribrink President Jake Kraayenbrick displayed the Agribrink Tire Pressure Adjustment System at this years Nebraska Ag Expo. Demonstrating the benefits of "on the go" pressure adjustment, Kraayenbrick remarks how the system helps benefit farming operations by reducing tire wear, minimizing soil compaction and lowering fuel consumption.

Precision Technology Specialist Marcus Bartlett explores FMC's new 3RIVE, an application system at the 2023 Nebraska Ag Expo. The system includes a dual tank system combining 30 gallons of chemistry with 130 gallons of water which apply crop protection across up to 450 acres.
