Some growers seeking to exploit current grain price opportunities are evaluating whether starter fertilizer can play a more prominent role in increasing corn yields.
David Hula captured top no-till yield honors in last fall’s National Corn Growers Association contest with a yield of 319.3 bushels per acre. I recently attended Ohio’s annual winter No-Till Conference and picked up several tips from some new and veteran no-till professionals.
