Digi-Star's Gary Mill introduces the company’s new GT 560 Scale Indicator as part of its new Harvest Tracker system, which includes moisture sensing and GPS capabilities. Placed inside the grain cart, the sensor tracks grain flow to provide an average and also converts moisture content to dry bushels. The GPS feature records two readings, when the grain is unloaded from the combine and where it is unloaded in the field.
Seeking to provide an OEM steering solution for legacy equipment, Case IH introduced its AFS ElectriSteer assisted steering solution. Ryan Blasiak explains that the system is available for more than 700 vehicle makes/models equipped with an AFS Pro 300 or 700 display and is transferrable between vehicles and snaps on to an existing steering wheel.
Precision Planting’s Cory Muhlbauer discusses the company’s new FurrowJet fertilizer application attachment for planters. The system quick-attaches to the planter row unit and delivers fertilizer in three zones — on two wings spaced ¾ of an inch apart that slice through the furrow sidewall — and also on the seedling. This application method targets the seed roots and crown roots to increase uptake in early plants and create a safe environment to avoid seed burn.
