Two research stations in Kentucky, where no-till practices are one of the central themes, have provided 25-45 years of data — and some surprising results — on crops, rotations and tillage, as well as their effect on nutrient management, soil properties and grain yield, says John Grove.

The director of the University of Kentucky’s Research and Education Center will share practical, yet sometimes surprising, insights about nitrogen requirements in no-till corn, no-till’s role in soil organic matter preservation, the true consequences of just one tillage pass on soil porosity and more.
