Nufarm Americas announced the addition of new seed treatment solutions to its product portfolio.

Promoting strong root development and plant growth, which leads to more consistent stands and better yields for a range of crops, the new products include three new Spirato seed treatments, as well as Sativa IMF Sembolite MAX, and Salient 372 FS.

The Spirato premix lineup provides the convenience of registered premixes with the flexibility of custom-fit seed treatments in three ready-to-use combinations:

  • Spirato M 185 FS combines two fungicide chemistries — fludioxonil and metalaxyl  — to protect soybean, seed and pod vegetables, rice and cotton against seed rots and the seedling diseases Rhizoctonia, Fusarium, Pythium and Phytophthora.
  • Spirato MTm 285 FS is a registered blend of fludioxonil and metalaxyl plus thiophanate-methyl, which provides systemic protection against diseases such as Rhizoctonia and Fusarium for soybeans, dry beans and succulent beans.
  • Spirato IMTm 348 FS includes three fungicides plus an insecticide for increased systemic pest control. It is registered for soybeans, dry beans and succulent beans.

Sativa IMF Sembolite MAX combines the protection of Sativa IMF MAX with the nutritional benefits of Sembolite in one convenient premix to give cereals, such as barley and wheat, the best chance for a strong start. Sativa IMF Sembolite MAX protects against seed decay caused by Aspergillus, Penicillum and other species. It also protects seeds and seedlings against a variety of diseases such as Rhizoctonia, Fusarium and Pythium with more consistent control than conventional mixtures.

Salient 372 FS, which contains difenoconazole, provides broad-spectrum disease control to provide both preventive and curative protection against many seed and soil diseases including Fusarium, Rhizoctonia, seed rots and dwarf bunt.
