National No-Tillage Conference

First Speakers Announced!

Tom Cotter
Wayne Honeycutt
Michael Thompson

No-Till Farmer is announcing three headliner speakers for the 2026 National No-Tillage Conference — all of them advocates of soil health and diverse, profitable agriculture systems.

The list includes No-Tiller Farmer’s Conservation Ag Operator Fellow for 2025, no-tiller and rancher Michael Thompson of Almena, Kan., who will be a keynote speaker at NNTC. Tom Cotter has evolved his farm from full tillage and chemical dependency to a diverse no-till and strip-till system with a regenerative organic focus that has both crops and livestock.

Wayne Honeycutt grew up on a 120-acre farm in Kentucky and served as a deputy chief at the NRCS, but he now leads the Soil Health Institute’s efforts to safeguard and enhance the vitality and productivity of soils.

We’re dedicated to bringing our attendees experienced, high-caliber speakers that can share valuable insights to help you make your farm more successful and profitable. Stay tuned as we continue to announce our speaker lineup this spring and summer.
