No-Till & Cover Crops in Sacrifice Bale Grazing Area
In this video, Wisconsin grower Leslie Svacina shares how she used a cover crop in her winter-spring sacrifice area where she feeds goats and sheep round bales. For the project she used a Kasco Manufacturing 8758 no-till drill to plant a custom mix of turnips, brassicas, sugar beets and radishes. Late in the season, she grazed it with her goats and sheep.
