Expanding the usage of soil health practices was on full display at the first Conversations about Conservation workshop in Brownsburg, Ind. Speaking at the event, Indiana University Indianapolis research scientist Bob Barr remarks that while conservation practices have plateaued in Indiana, he hopes that events like the workshop can inform farmers and landowners to employ these methods to improve the water quality and soil health state-wide.
