  • Syngenta opened its new 88-acre, 100,000-square foot Seeds Research & Development Innovation Center in Malta, Ill. 
  • The Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC) is partnering with Farmers for Soil Health (FSH), a new program devoted to increasing the usage of cover crops on corn and soybean acres, and will provide increased technical assistance to farmers participating in FSH in Wisconsin, Minnesota and South Dakota.   
  • Precision Planting launched Clarity, a blockage and flow monitoring system aimed at helping growers get a better picture of exactly how much seed or dry fertilizer is flowing through the system on a row-by-row level.  
  • Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig toured Montag Manufacturing’s Emmetsburg, Iowa, facilities in August to learn more about how the company’s products are improving soil health and water quality in the region.

  • Indigo Ag launched a new biological product to fight soybean cyst nematodes in the U.S. Biotrinsic Z15 is produced as a flowable powder formulation and is labeled for use on both corn and soybeans.  
  • Nufarm’s Credit K6 herbicide, a potassium salt glyphosate, has been approved for Enlist One tank mix.
