The Ag Division of Lessiter Publications, Brookfield, Wis., is pleased to announce the following staff changes.
John Dobberstein has been promoted to managing editor of No-Till Farmer and the Conservation Tillage Guide, and Jennifer Reibel has joined the company as managing editor of Farm Equipment, Rural Lifestyle Dealer and the Farm Catalog, replacing Dobberstein.
Dobberstein was the associate editor of Farm Equipment, Rural Lifestyle Dealer and the Farm Catalog magazines since he joined Lessiter Publications in February 2009. In addition to writing and editing feature articles for No-Till Farmer and the Conservation Tillage Guide, Dobberstein will be responsible for developing web content for the No-Till Farmer web site, www.no-tillfarmer.com. He will also report on industry meetings and trade shows as well as other events, including the National No-Tillage Conference. John will continue serving as associate editor for Farm Equipment and Rural Lifestyle Dealer.
Dobberstein is a graduate of Central Michigan Univ. and has nearly 20 years experience as an award-winning journalist at newspapers throughout the Midwest. He also covered agriculture at the Tulsa World newspaper and did freelance writing for the Chicago Tribune and Crain’s Chicago Business.
Reibel has more than 20 years of business writing experience with CNH Global, Edelman Public Relations, Kohler Co., Farm Futures magazine and The Milwaukee Business Journal.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kalamazoo College in Kalamazoo, Mich., and lives in Bay View, Wis., with her husband and their two children. She has a lifelong love of horses and rides regularly.
In addition to writing and editing feature articles for Farm Equipment and Rural Lifestyle Dealer, Jennifer is also responsible for developing content for the websites of both publications: www.farm-equipment.com, and www.rurallifestyledealer.com. She will also take a lead role in the continuing growth of Rural Lifestyle Dealer. Jennifer will also serve as associate editor on No-Till Farmer and Conservation Tillage Guide.
