After frequent damage to Cry1F-traited hybrids by western bean cutworm during summer 2016, a new column has been added to disclose field failures, resistance or cross-resistance.
There has been growing evidence that Cry1F does not control western bean cutworm, prompting entomologists in the Great Lakes region to address the issue in an open letter to the seed industry.
