The Versatile line of self-propelled sprayers now includes the SX240 and SX280. Both have mechanical drive systems and come with a 1,000-gallon poly tank or a 1,200-gallon stainless steel tank, with boom sizes up to 120 feet. Built in Willmar, Minn., these new sprayers are powered by the Cummins QSB 6.7L and 240 or 280 horsepower. With a focus on simplicity and efficient operation, the Versatile self-propelled sprayers provide growers and commercial applicators with a rugged alternative to hydraulic-drive, high-clearance sprayers.
Bestway’s new AutoGlideXR™ automatic boom-height control system uses rugged, long-range ultrasonic sensors mounted on the spray boom to continually monitor and maintain the height of the booms above the ground or crop canopy. That means more consistent spray patterns, better coverage and reduced drift potential. AutoGlideXR™ is available as an aftermarket upgrade for nearly all self-propelled and pull-type sprayers. Since AutoGlideXR™ uses your sprayers existing electric-over-hydraulic boom controls, installation is simple and easy and the system is very affordable.
The SARITOR with an infinitely variable four-wheel-drive hydrostatic transmission delivers the traction to stay in front of the spray program. SARITOR is HARDI-built from the ground up and sets new standards in broad-acre spraying. It offers 1,100- and 1,300-gallon tank capacities with 90- to 132-foot boom widths. Crop clearance is 54 inches and the track width can be hydraulically adjusted from 120 to 160 inches to provide a large, stable platform for boom stability. Four ride-level, air-bag suspension elements and hydraulic shock absorbers provide smooth spray performance and exceptional operator comfort. Standard with all HARDI self-propelled sprayers is the SprayMax 3-year, full-coverage warranty (optional 5-year available).
PRESIDIO delivers class-leading field performance and flotation. The 700-gallon main tank and 70-gallon flush tank integrated into the chassis provide a low center of gravity and excellent weight distribution. EAGLE boom widths of 75 to 90 feet or ALU FORCE boom widths of 80 to 100 feet produce high work rates and make spraying fast and efficient. The standard 4-wheel-drive, 3-speed hydrostatic transmission with cruise control is powered by a DEUTZ 6-cylinder, 173-horsepower engine. Standard with all HARDI self-propelled sprayers is the SprayMax 3-year full coverage warranty (optional 5-year available). Built for demanding service, PRESIDIO optimizes design strength and weight distribution.
The Gemini dual pump kit allows a user to operate two Ace pumps to apply two liquids at different rates, while only requiring one valuable tractor hydraulic connection. It may be used on tractors with either load-sensing or pressure-compensated, closed-center hydraulic systems. Oil may be supplied from one selective control valve or the power-beyond-hydraulic supply. The package includes everything needed for manual operation, including a switch box, wiring harness, hydraulic valve manifold and fittings. The system may also be controlled automatically using pulse width modulated control signals from the customer’s controller to the included proportional valves.
