In the late 1980s and 1990s, the Soil and Water Conservation District of Bureau County, Illinois, distributed these signs to promote no-till farming. By 2015, the use of no-till and other conservation tillage methods had reduced soil erosion in the U.S. to a record low.
This 18 x 24-inch plastic sign was donated to the museum by Jim Rapp.
