Product Details

While glyphosate resistance is certainly showing growers a need to rotate chemistries, Don Huber claims glyphosate overuse is having serious impacts on the ability of crops like corn and soybeans to utilize nutrients. The retired Purdue University agronomist will explain the nature of glyphosate, which he calls a chelator; how he believes it negatively impacts micronutrients and essentially the efficiency in uptake of major nutrients like nitrogen; and how it may be compromising plant health and leading to more crop disease.

While Huber’s assertions have led to a firestorm of controversy, the researcher will also share how no-tillers might reduce their reliance on glyphosate without eliminating it altogether to preserve this valuable tool and share ways they can improve their soil biology and nutrient uptake by crops.
