Question: How do I plant different seeds at different depths with a John Deere 1590 no-till drill?
Assuming you're talking cover crops, you have to shoot for a happy medium. Shoot to plant into moisture, and bank on the bigger seeds helping the smaller seeds emerge. Same with setting the seeding rate — set up the bigger seed to get going first, but still focus on your calibration.
