The most recent change I have made is to upgrade all of my tractors and combines to RTK guidance accuracy. This has allowed me to make sure the tractors and planters are planting the new crop exactly between the rows of last year's crop.

This makes sure the planting unit is going between the rows and not having to deal with extra residue. This reduces planter unit bounce and ensures that planting depth is accurate and uniform, translating to maximum yield potential. It also allows us to reduce downforce because we aren't needing extra downforce to hold the units down to cut through heavy stalk material. This then reduces sidewall compaction on some soils.
