Come and see alternative methods for inter-seeding cover crops in standing corn. Demo plots of 12 different cover crops may be viewed, and the species were established in corn using aerial seeding and the highboy seeder. The Hagie Highboy Cover Crop Seeder will be demonstrated and the Penn State Inter-Seeder will be on display. Visit the soil pit to see cover crop roots close up.

The field day is located in southwest Michigan in Nottawa, but buses are being provided from Mid-Michigan and the Thumb area so producers from around the state can explore these emerging interseeding technologies.

The field day is free and includes lunch.
