The new N-ZONE dual disc applicator places nutrients (at various depths) down and around seed. Designed for growers wanting to apply nitrogen at planting, N-ZONE allows placement 3 inches on both sides of the seed row for maximum coverage. N-ZONE dual applicator consists of two 14" smooth blades for easy penetration with a 3/8-inch OD tube welded to the newly designed, patented placement shoe on one side allowing the unit to turn freely and a furrow control strap on the other side that keeps the liquid down in the soil, not on the planter. Take the Bounce Out of Your Planter with Schaffert
The standard swing arm closing systems on most planters is limited to 4" of travel, which isn't enough when planting through ditches and over terraces, while the new 4 Link Closer from Schaffert Mfg. provides 7" of vertical travel. Along with the 4 Link Closer, one can add the G2 liquid fertilizer disc system, which has a walking beam axle that places balanced pressure on both press wheels and the liquid disc, giving better fertilizer depth and better seed to soil contact in uneven terrain. Help Keep Fertilizer Off Your Case IH Planter with Schaffert
Schaffert Mfg.'s combination of a 2x2 stainless fertilizer tube with screw-in orifice at point of delivery along with a 4" Chicken Tracker press wheel helps eliminate fertilizer from getting on the Case IH planter. The fertilizer tube mounts to the planter rather than the covering disc, giving more uniform placement of fertilizers into the slice left behind the covering discs. The 4" Chicken Tracker wheel follows, working inside the 4" area being tilled by the covering discs, rather than having the 6" press wheel ride up on firm soil and not compress soil down around the seed. This also leaves less fertilizer build-up on the 4" Chicken Tracker and better fertilizer and seed to soil contact.

Exapta UniForceTM Hydraulic Downforce for JD 50/60/90-Series No-Till Drills
UniForce overcomes the biggest limitation of these drills, which is lack of effective down-stroke as the coil spring relaxes slightly (the spring has only a range of 0.25” of optimum pressure). UniForce replaces the OEM springs on each opener with hydraulic cylinders to apply uniform force to the opener throughout its range of travel. Get uniform pressure on all openers for much better cutting, less hairpinning, more accurate holding depth and far less sidewall compaction. With UniForce, get better use of frame weight, and greater upstroke range on openers than OEM.

The GeminiTM Dual Pump Kit from Ace Pump Corporation
The GeminiTM dual pump kit allows a user to operate two Ace Pumps to apply two liquids at different rates while only requiring one valuable tractor hydraulic connection. It may be used on tractors with either load sensing or pressure compensated closed center hydraulic systems. Oil may be supplied from one selective control valve (SCV) or the power beyond hydraulic supply. The package includes everything needed for manual operation including a switch box, wiring harness, hydraulic valve manifold and fittings. The system may also be controlled automatically using PWM control signals from the customer’s controller to the included proportional valves.

Our new Case Conversion Kits convert your case planter's single press wheel to a dual closing wheel design and allows you to run any dual closing including our Posi-Close wheels. The rubber wheel is normally associated with the seed trench crusting and baking, or simply opening back up when used in wet soil. Posi-Close Planter Wheels will leave soft mulch on top of the seedbed to prevent crusting and baking. Posi-Close Wheels will not leave any smearing or extreme compaction, and destroy side wall compaction. Also pictured is our No-Till Gauge wheel to help reduce side wall compaction and mud buildup due to the fingered wheel design that fractures the side wall allowing the seed V to be closed easier.

The Furrow Cruiser Xtreme is a cast spiked closing wheel that is made for the toughest of conditions. The wheel has angular teeth that will break up sidewall compaction and close the furrow. The extra weight will help the wheel to penetrate tougher field conditions. The width of the wheel will help with firming of the soil around the seed and will prohibit the wheel from rooster tailing or moving the seed.

RK Products Closing Wheel Arm Pivot Kit
The proven RKP Gauge Wheel Arm Pivot Kit for planters was adapted to John Deere no-tlll drills in 1999. With this design, the closing wheel arm is clamped to the bearing housing with enough controlled pressure that lateral looseness is eliminated, yet the arm can pivot freely. Disc springs (Belleville washers) are utilized to permit this. The new design shown incorporates a thread deforming locknut to provide a stronger attachment and also simplifies spring pressure adjustment. Sleeve bearings and seals are also available.

Precision Fabrication Dual Placement Fertilizer Bracket
The dual placement fertilizer bracket was designed to put liquid nitrogen and other nutrients in a dual band down in the root zone. Two 10” mini openers are located on each side of the seed trench, and run slightly toed in. This produces two trenches that liquid fertilizer is streamed into under low pressure to prevent splattering. The fertilizer trenches are approximately 3” from seed trench and place the liquid at the same depth as the row unit places the seed. With the fertilizer openers placed behind the openers, damp soil does not collect on the row unit gauge wheels.
