Can my spouse attend the educational sessions? See more

Spouses are welcome to attend the educational sessions at no cost. However, if your spouse will be joining you for the Wednesday lunch, please purchase a spouse lunch ticket by visiting the onsite conference registration desk, or by calling (866) 839-8455 or (262) 432-0388. Spouses who are not attending the educational sessions are invited to attend the free NNTC Spouse Program, which will be announced soon.

How is the National No-Tillage Conference structured? What is a “roundtable discussion?” See more

The National No-Tillage Conference features nearly 40 top-notch no-tillers, agronomists, researchers and other no-till experts to deliver innovative ideas that can help you get the most out of your no-till farming system. Over 4 days, the conference offers:

  • General Session Presentations: listen as the most experienced no-till experts talk about key concerns for no-tillers across the world.
  • No-Till Roundtable Discussions: focus on a specific no-till topic in small groups for a face-to-face learning and sharing environment with other no-tillers.
  • No-Till Classrooms: choose among these overlapping sessions for specialized no-till learning that fits your exact wants and needs.
  • Pre-Conference Workshops: start learning before the conference officially begins with a limited-seating session led by leading no-till experts. These sessions require an additional fee. Workshop topics will be announced soon.
  • Hallway Networking: take a break between sessions to have some refreshments and discuss the tools and strategies you’ve learned with fellow no-tillers.

The 2020 Conference will have a mix of General Session Presentations, No-Till Classrooms, No-Till Roundtables and special Workshops to give attendees a jam-packed program of no-till strategies.

Can I receive continuing education credits for attending the National No-Tillage Conference? See more

Educational credit approvals will be announced soon. The 2019 Conference was approved for a total of 36.5 Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) credit hours. Download a list of sessions and credit hours approved here. Pesticide recertification credits have been approved for the following states: CO,CT,DE,IN,KS,KY,ME,MD,MA,MI,MS,MT,NC,NV,NH,OH,OK,PA,SC,TN,TX,VA,VT,WA,WV. Please check back soon for additional state approvals.

Note: For the first time ever, the 2019 National No-Tillage Conference was able to offer pesticide recertification credits from the state of Indiana with a special program.

In addition, attendance at both of the following NNTC classroom sessions on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 is also required for Indiana attendees to earn the full recertification credit:

  • Carl Bradley, "Fighting Through the Evolving Landscape of Row Crop Diseases and Finding No-Till Profitability."; 8:00-8:45 AM. Sign-in is required.
  • Jennifer Tank, "Using Watershed-Scale Cover Crops to Keep More Nutrients on No-Tilled Fields."; 9:00-10:00 AM. Sign-in is required.

Within 4 weeks of the conference ending, you will be emailed a link to view the recordings. Please note that pre-conference workshops, classroom sessions and roundtable discussions will not be available as recordings.
