The Ag Division of Lessiter Media is pleased to announce that Dan Crummett will take on an expanded role at Lessiter Media editorial team as a contributing editor in 2023.

The plow is as American as the Fourth of July. Numerous no-till attempts were made in the late 1940s but unsuitable equipment and weed control products, still in their relative infancy, thwarted its adoption. Horse racing holds its three traditional “Triple Crown” races over a 5-week schedule each May through June. It starts with the Kentucky Derby in Kentucky, moves to the Preakness Stakes in Maryland and wraps up with the Belmont Stakes in New York.
