What Gypsum Can And Cannot Do For Your No-Till Soils (NNTC 2012 Presentation) - MP3 Download

$19.95

Product Details

Warren Dick says a total of 20 different beneficial uses of gypsum have been identified. Among those benefits that have the potential to directly enhance production of crops includes improved nitrogen use deficiency; overcoming sulfur deficiencies; improved soil properties in heavy soils where continuous no-till is practiced; and improved rooting in fields with acid subsoils.

The Ohio State University soils specialist looks not only at the soils and rates needed to achieve crop production benefits associated with gypsum, but whether soil surface applications are effective and how growers can reduce losses of phosphates and nitrates in surface and subsurface drainage water. He’ll also set the record straight on things gypsum can’t do.
