Making No-Till Wheat A Winning Rotational Tool (NNTC 2012 Presentation) - MP3 Download

$19.95

Product Details

A private agronomist for the past 10 years and a no-till advocate for 27, Bill Crabtree consults with no-tillers who farm more than 150,000 acres of Western Australian wheat-belt land. Crabtree will share years of advice on pesticide use, including rates, timing, products and how to deal with and avoid possible herbicide resistance.

Crabtree, who helped crack open the myth that low rates of herbicide do not increase herbicide resistance, will not only share jewels on weed control in wheat, but he will look at some practices that U.S. wheat growers might want to consider in their operation. He will also outline the value of wheat to no-till rotations, though many growers have moved to more of a monoculture approach due to economics.
