A national survey launched to gather insight from farmers who plant cover crops, as well as farmers who don't.

A better farm future starts with the soil.

Following the use of cover crops, farmers reported increased yields of corn, soybeans and wheat, and improved control of herbicide-resistant weeds, according to a nationwide survey. In addition, the survey of 2,012 farmers showed acreage planted in cover crops has nearly doubled over the past five years.

With over 2,000 farmers participating in the fourth annual survey, results once again showed that corn and soybean yields increased following cover crops.
