I want to buy a used self-propelled sprayer. What should I look for? I’m thinking about getting a Spra-Coupe or Wilmar sprayer. Up until now, I have been pulling a sprayer behind a tractor.
Last year, I purchased a used 220 Spra-Coupe that replaced a Wylie pull-type sprayer. It was cheap (costing only $7,500), very reliable, and much more convenient to use than the Wylie.
I recently traded a 220 Spra-Coupe with electric actuators for a 3430 Spra-Coupe. While I was shopping for a trade, I drove a Wilmar and soon decided that it was much more awkward than the quite nimble 220. To be fair, the Wilmar was a bigger machine. These are the major differences.
