  • In October, Arkansas ordered Syngenta, a Chinese-owned company, to sell 160 acres of farmland within the state, enforcing a state law that prohibits certain foreign parties from holding land.
  • Ohio State University has announced the opening of two Trimble Technology Labs that will allow students hands-on access to leading agriculture technologies that will better prepare them for their future careers. 
  • Beck’s Hybrids broke ground on a new 96,000-square foot distribution building and 100-acre research facility in Salina, Kan., dedicated to its Practical Farm Research studies.
  • CNH Industrial purchases the global satellite navigation technology leader Hemisphere GNSS
