I am first time farmer this year. The farmer whose planter I am using (JD 7100 6 row finger unit) does not have fertilizer tanks. I was told not to put on starter. Instead I will sidedress 28 on once corn is up. This will be no-till on existing corn crop. Any thoughts about this? Is it wise to not put on starter? I will put sulfur with the 28. Thanks.

Ben-Not knowing anything about your soil,soil test,seed,I would look for a no-tiller

in your area to mentor me. The need for no-till knowledge should come from

no-till experience. Good luck and keep asking!! Mike
