I am new to no-till, my fourth year this season.  I run a JD 750 and a JD 7100 with no fertilizer.  I added seed firmers with fertilizer tubes last year so I at least can put on starter. I am wondering how to get the crops the rest of their nutrients. In years past we used a spinner box and worked it in. I know if I put it on that way now it will be lost. I am in need of ideas from other no-tillers on how to get this done.  Thank you.

I'm not sure about what you meant with fertilizer being "lost." I'm assuming you mean N in a no-till surface application? I'm not good with a keyboard. If you'd like to talk on the phone (231-937-4640) I"ll be glad to try to answer your questions the best I can from my own learning curve. (no-till since 2003)
