I am considering to apply a granular herbicide at seeding time (S-Metolachlor). I would seed corn using an air seeder fitted with a precision metering unit. Openers are sweep type. A second metering unit (roller) will be used to meter the granular herbicide, so herbicide and seeds will be in contact once in the soil. Does this will cause injuries in seeds/seedlings?
