Landoll has introduced the new VTplus, which the company says allows pr
oducers the ability to anchor residue with shallow working depths, mix more soil, get better weed kill across the machine and level small ruts left by previous operations.
Smooth blades allow the unit to work in wetter conditions when needed, and to stay sharper over time when compared to fluted blades typically found on competitive models.
The gangs on the VTplus are set at a predetermined 10-degree angle. The company says this angle, combined with ultra-shallow concavity blade, provides the lateral movement of soil needed to mix with residue and keep it anchored rather than losse on the soil surface.
The VTplus is available in 23- to 33-foot working widths.
